Dr Elena Limnios, President

Elena is an experienced Independent Board Director in diverse industries spanning Education, Infrastructure and Engineering. She currently serves as Chair of Perth NRM and a Board Member for SMTAFE, contributing to Risk and Audit Committees for both. A former UWA Business School Assistant Professor, she's a national authority on member-owner enterprise governance, with a portfolio of publications, consultations, and specialized training programs. As an engineer and seasoned property professional, Elena owns a Project Management and Development Management firm and is the Executive Strategy Director of a 54-year-old real estate services company. Her qualifications include a Masters in Engineering (High Distinction), MBA, PhD in organizational resilience from UWA, and a Graduate Membership in the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Elena, originally from Greece and fluent in Greek, moved to Australia in 2004 for her PhD studies and takes pride in her Asian Minor and Pontian heritage.


Athanasios Gaitatzis
Vice-President

Athanasios is a Consultant Neurologist specializing in epilepsy (Epileptologist) at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perron Institute, and Perth Neurology and Epilepsy in Perth. He qualified in Medicine at Aristotle University in Greece (Ptychio Iatrikes) and obtained a  Doctorate in Medicine at UCL, London UK for research in epilepsy. Athanasios is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians in the UK and a Fellow of the Australasian Royal College of Physicians in Australia. He is certified in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology after completing training in London UK. He has completed a Fellowship in Epilepsy Surgery at the SEIN Epilepsy Institute in The Netherlands.

Katerina Andronis
Secretary

Katerina is a senior Health IT and Change Management professional, Katerina has contributed her expertise to leading organisations as an industry advisor and consultant in the development and delivery of multi-million dollar and leading edge business and process initiatives.

Her previous roles include CIO of Ramsay Health Care hospitals, Peter Mac Callum Cancer and 10 years as a Director, Health Life Science and Health Care Industry, Deloitte in Melbourne.  Currently working as the Client Executive Partner to WA Health for Atos.

Stelio Eleftheriou
Treasurer

Stelio has been engaged in the IT industry for more than 23 years, he has valued all experiences and insights gained from organisations, both in Australia and overseas, starting from being in technical support until reaching his current senior management position. Throughout the years, he has developed leadership qualities, acquiring skills, knowledge and enhanced competencies in: business and technical management, service delivery management, IT consultation, project management, client relationship management, stakeholder and executive engagement and people management and culture.

Antiopi Orkopoulos

Antiopi is a seasoned Associate Director at CHRISTOU Design Group and serves on the Board of Penrhos College, where she has been the Convener of the Infrastructure Committee since December 2022. She specializes in strategic briefing, stakeholder consultation, and effective management within the architectural field. Antiopi graduated from the University of Western Australia, earning dual degrees in Arts with a focus on Philosophy and Ancient History, as well as a Bachelor of Architecture. Antiopi is dedicated to community engagement and is passionate about her Hellenic heritage, actively promoting cultural and commercial relations between Western Australia's business and Hellenic Australian communities. Antiopi was born in Athens and embarked on her Australian journey in 1974. After a brief return to Greece in 1984, she permanently settled in Perth in 1986.

John Konstantopoulos

John is the Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of health technology company, Artrya Ltd. John leads the clinical and commercial development of Artrya’s ground-breaking, non-invasive technology that transforms how heart disease patients are managed. John has extensive experience in commercialisation, fund raising and global expansion. He co-founded Artrya Ltd in 2018 and grew the company to a valuation of $105m within 4 years and an ASX listing. Previously, John was the Global Industry Leader for Electronics at IBM, where he advised executives from some of the world’s largest corporations on product commercialisation and new market entry. He was a member of IBM’s Global Industry Academy and currently serves on the Faculty Advisory Board for Engineering and Science at Curtin University. He holds a Master of Engineering Degree from the University of Technology, Pretoria which he completed in Munich, Germany with the TUM (Technische Universität München) and an MBA from HEC Paris.

Michael Daniels

Michael is a lawyer specialising in providing legal services in the Building and Construction industry and is part of the Projects, Infrastructure and Construction team at Jackson McDonald. His legal knowledge and skills are supported by his strong scientific and technical background, coupled with business, project and people management skills obtained over 20 years as a geophysicist in the oil and gas industry working for a large multinational oilfield services company while simultaneously being a director for a building consultancy company.  Michael has a number of qualifications including in law, advanced science, arbitration, and mediation and is involve in various capacities in other community organisations.

Parakevi (Voula) Terzoudi

Paraskevi known as Voula, currently resides in South Fremantle after completing her studies in Astrophysics and working in Medium to High energy research facilities, including the European Space Agency. She embarked on a diversified career in the Oil & Gas Industry several years ago, which took her to various countries around the world, finally landing in Perth in 2012, where she is currently employed at Woodside Energy, Head of Partnerships in the Technology and Innovation Division. With a goal-oriented mindset, she is enthusiastic about fostering teamwork and helping others achieve their objectives. She is guided by her Greek heritage and values, which she treasures deeply and promotes widely, including supporting the Greek diaspora and preserving Greek language and traditions worldwide while also respecting local customs.

Sofia Chouli

Sophia is an Engineering Manager at BHP with over 20 years of experience in leadership roles in construction and mining sectors across Europe and Australia. Accountable for delivering multimillion-dollar infrastructure projects on time and within budget through forming and leading high-performing, multi-disciplinary diverse teams. Sofia utilises her engineering background combined with the knowledge acquired through the Global Executive MBA from INSEAD to enable teams to achieve the required economic performance in conjunction with the defined social value framework and goals. Proud of transforming engineering practices and procedures and employing methods to continuously improve the sustainability of the assets. Passionate about promoting the Greek language, traditions and culture in order to revive and maintain their liveness. Enthusiastic about encouraging women's advancement in leadership roles as a BHP Minerals Australia Female People Leaders Initiative group member.

Tas Mitaros

Tas is a Data Analyst with a specialisation in Business Intelligence, driven by a passion for optimising business efficiencies. His technical skills are accompanied by a background in Management and Finance (Bachelor of Commerce, UWA), which he has utilised primarily in the Transport Logistics and Software as a Service (SaaS) industries. Tas is currently working as the lead analyst at a NASDAQ-listed technology company, where he designs comprehensive data solutions to enable better decision making and drive growth.
